About 65 Senior Street

The 65 Senior Street Store:

Working with senior living and older adults for as long as we have, we know managing incontinence products can be expensive and time consuming.   Programs provided by communities often have high mark ups, but getting them on your own can mean running out of product or settling for poor quality.  Get rid of leaks, odors and bad fit.  65 Senior Street delivers incontinence products to communities on time at a great price so you don't have to worry about running out.  For self-medication residents lockboxes are required, not to mention a really good idea, to keep medication secure and out of the wrong hands.  We're local in Charlotte, so we can often do same day or next day delivery in urgent cases.  Need suggestions or information on products? Just call or email us. We offer residents of senior living communities a 10% discount and free delivery- just call or email us for your community code if you don't have it.  Become a Brand Ambassador at your community and enjoy even more discounts and free stuff!

65 Senior Street:

With almost 20 years of experience in home care, hospital administration and senior living, we're pretty good at navigating care options for older adults. 65 Senior Street opened in Charlotte, NC in 2013 with goal of being able guide older adults and their caregivers in their search for programs and senior living communities that are right for them.   This is not your Grandma's senior living anymore and the range of options is extensive.  Proactive care and programs are as important as medicine to help seniors thrive. Therapy, specialized cognitive and dementia programs and services that come to you are available in today's communities.   Amenities now include fitness centers, pools, fine dining options, walk-in closets, sunlit living areas, shopping or cultural excursions and more.   Whether you're active and want an easier lifestyle or you require a high level of care each day, there's a community that fits your needs, lifestyle and budget.

We'll meet with you to discuss lifestyle, activities, care needs and budget.  We'll help you narrow down your best options, then assist you with touring, pricing, paperwork and discussing your care plan if needed.   We'll even follow up with you at the community to ensure things go smoothly.   Our service is free for families- communities in the area pay us to help you!  Pricing in the area generally fall between $1500-4800/month for independent living, $2800-7000/month for assisted living and $4800-$7500/month for dementia care.  Pricing includes utilities, meal plan, transportation and basic care.  Apartment size, location, amenities and care level are the other factors considered in pricing.

For Medicaid options, you'll need to contact the Department of Social Services in your county to complete your application and assessment and to determine eligibility.  Your case manager will guide you on communities accepting Medicaid at this time.
